SBI Life has announced the approval from its board to acquire a 10% stake in Bima Sugam India Federation for Rs 6.6 crore.
Bima Sugam India, an unlisted company founded on June 18, 2024, plans to develop an integrated platform for insurance products and services across the country.
The transaction involves SBI Life purchasing 66 lakh shares, each valued at Rs 10, marking a substantial investment in the yet-to-be-launched federation's equity share capital, as disclosed in the regulatory filing.
