Delhi MLA Amanatullah Khan Under Police Radar for Obstructing Justice

Delhi Police have intensified efforts to apprehend Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan, who faces serious charges of obstructing justice and threatening police in Jamia Nagar. The police action follows an FIR naming Khan and citing allegations of interference as they conducted an operation on February 10.

The Delhi Crime Branch attempted to question suspect Shavej Khan, a figure in a 2018 attempted murder case, when reportedly 20-25 supporters led by the Okhla MLA intervened. Khan allegedly threatened law enforcement, obstructed proceedings, and aided the suspect's escape.

Deputy Commissioner of Police for South East Delhi, Ravi Kumar Singh, confirmed that efforts are underway to locate both Amanatullah Khan and Shavej Khan. Legal action is being pursued, highlighting the ongoing investigations surrounding the tumultuous incident.
