In a shocking incident on Thursday morning, a six-year-old boy was abducted by two men riding a bike in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district, as confirmed by the local police. The brazen abduction occurred in the CP Colony area under the Morar police station's jurisdiction.
The child's mother was escorting him to the school bus stop when the kidnappers struck, using a powder, suspected to be chili powder, to temporarily blind her, before seizing the opportunity to abduct the child and escape. The entire sequence of events was documented by a nearby CCTV camera.
Reacting swiftly, the police registered a case and initiated a manhunt to track down the perpetrators. In a bid to expedite the arrest, a reward of Rs 30,000 has been announced for any credible information. Inspector General of Police for Gwalior Range, Arvind Saxena, stated that investigations are progressing based on leads gathered, with a focus on swiftly apprehending those responsible.
