In a recent case hearing concerning the 2020 North East Delhi riots, Delhi's Karkardooma Court issued a stern reprimand to lawyer Mehmood Pracha for unprofessional conduct during a video conferencing session. Pracha was censured for attending the hearing from unconventional locations, including while walking in an open space and then from a moving vehicle.

Additional Sessions Judge Pulastya Pramachala expressed dissatisfaction with Pracha's actions, highlighting a persistent misuse of video conferencing facilities. The court stated, "This is another glaring misuse of V/C, which has to be stopped," as it noted the lack of professional demeanor in Pracha's approach to the proceedings.

The court had initially granted a passover for the late arrival of Pracha, who then failed to adhere to expected professional standards. The judge emphasized that going forward, any defense counsel must adhere strictly to video conferencing protocols set by the High Court of Delhi, ensuring timely and rule-abiding appearances.
