A massive fire erupted on Monday afternoon within the forested region of Urlian village in Udhampur district, Jammu and Kashmir, stirring swift action from local firefighters and residents. Tilak Raj, head constable and fireman of Udhampur's Fire and Emergency Department, stated that efforts are in full swing to control and extinguish the raging flames.

"The fire has broken out on the forest land. We reached here a short while ago. We are trying to douse the fire. The fire has spread; we are trying to control it. Locals are also helping us," Raj reported. His statement highlights the urgency and communal response amidst the blaze.
