Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has set an ambitious goal to transform one crore women Self Help Group (SHG) members into 'crorepatis'. His plans include organizing a massive public meeting, aiming to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to witness the empowerment of women firsthand.

Addressing the launch of a petrol pump managed by a district-level SHG federation in Narayanpet, Reddy reiterated the government's target to scale SHG membership in the state to one crore from the current 67 lakh. He highlighted the potential demonstration of strength by gathering one crore women on Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road.

Reddy also unveiled initiatives to support SHG members, such as distributing two high-quality sarees per year and establishing solar power plants to generate 1,000 MW. Furthermore, he announced the allocation of land in Hyderabad's IT hub for SHG members to market their products, highlighting a spirit of collaboration between state and central governments.
