A fire broke out on Friday afternoon at a chemical factory in Sitapur, a district in Uttar Pradesh, confirmed Abhinav Kumar, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Sitapur Sadar.
The factory owner suspects a leakage may have set off the blaze. Despite the severity, 6-7 fire tenders effectively managed to extinguish the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
While the exact cause behind the fire remains unclear, further details are expected. This incident followed another blaze earlier in the week at a warehouse in Noida's Sector 122, where no injuries were reported either.
