Minister Praises Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project

Union Minister of State for Railways, Ravneet Singh Bittu, lauds the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project, highlighting its role in infrastructure development and employment. The project, part of PM Modi's vision, is expected to enhance regional connectivity and boost economic growth in Gujarat and Maharashtra, despite land acquisition delays.

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) project received accolades from Union Minister of State for Railways, Ravneet Singh Bittu, during his inaugural inspection. Bittu hailed the project, envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as a crucial stride toward India's infrastructural growth and a significant employment provider, engaging nearly one lakh individuals.

Addressing the media, Bittu commended the execution and ambition of the rail initiative. He emphasized the need for high-speed rail in India's push towards 'Vikshit Bharat,' aligning this effort with Modi's vision of a modern railway network. Progress in Gujarat is notable, though Maharashtra faces delays due to pending land acquisition tasks.

The minister applauded the efficiency of construction, noting a bridge span of 40 meters being completed within 16 hours. The MAHSR project, developed in collaboration with Japan, aims to improve connectivity and economic development across Gujarat and Maharashtra, promising to elevate India's rail infrastructure to international repute.
