In a bold statement at the Bio Asia 2025 conference, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy articulated his vision for a transformative economic leap, setting the ambitious target of evolving Telangana into a trillion-dollar economy over the next decade. Speaking at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Reddy emphasized the strategic development of Hyderabad as a hub for electric vehicles (EVs) and biotechnology.

Chief Minister Reddy pointed out that Telangana is poised to host one of the world's largest manufacturing hubs outside its urban core, linked via a mega-dry port to Andhra Pradesh’s seaport. He stressed that BioAsia's presence underscores Hyderabad's emerging status as a global capital for life sciences innovation, research, and manufacturing, attracting industry leaders worldwide.

Highlighting Telangana's achievements, Reddy noted the prioritization of the services and life sciences sectors in the urban blueprint. With Hyderabad's EV sales leading the nation, plans for extensive infrastructure, including radial roads and manufacturing clusters, are underway. Reddy's remarks conclude with Telangana's success in securing substantial investment and job creation at the World Economic Forum in Davos and ongoing collaborations with multinational giants, cementing its role as a significant player in the global market.
