Delhi Celebrates Maha Shivratri with Devotion and Hope for Progress

On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta extended heartfelt greetings to the nation, expressing hopes for advancement in Delhi and across India. 'I wish for the divine blessings of Bhole Nath to guide Delhi and the nation's progress,' Gupta conveyed to ANI.

BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal joined CM Gupta in prayers at Delhi's Gauri Shankar Temple, fervently wishing for prosperity across the country. Khandelwal expressed optimism about national development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's stewardship, aligning his prayers with the festival's spirit.

Elsewhere, a sea of devotees converged at Prayagraj's Triveni Sangam, partaking in the final ceremonial bath of the Maha Kumbh, coinciding with Maha Shivratri. As Akharas like Niranjani, Ahwan, and Juna lead the sacred rituals, the day celebrates Lord Shiva’s union with Goddess Parvati, embodying the ultimate triumph of light over darkness.
