Record-Breaking Devotee Turnout Marks End of Maha Kumbh 2025

Maha Kumbh 2025 concludes in Prayagraj with 65 crore devotees participating. The final ritual coincided with Maha Shivratri, witnessed a joyful turnout. Officials reported smooth arrangements facilitating the grand event. Devotees expressed emotions on this auspicious occasion as they performed the last holy dip at Triveni Sangam.

The Maha Kumbh 2025 concluded today at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, marking the end of the world's largest religious gathering on a day that coincided with Maha Shivratri. This grand event began on Paush Purnima, January 13, and concluded with the final Shahi Snan, observed with much fervor.

Over 65 crore devotees have participated in this spiritual conclave, taking a sacred dip at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. To honor the final Shahi Snan, flower petals were showered on pilgrims as they completed their ritual baths, creating an atmosphere of joy and reverence.

Senior Superintendent of Police for Maha Kumbh, Rajesh Dwivedi, noted the remarkable influx of pilgrims. "No one wants to miss such an opportunity," he stated, praising the efforts that ensured a smooth and efficient flow of crowds. Devotees expressed deep emotions, feeling blessed by Maa Ganga on this auspicious occasion.
