On the last day of the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh police remained vigilant to prevent any untoward incident. Additional SP Shwetabh Pandey stated that boat patrolling was underway, with a focus on ensuring all safety regulations were followed. Unauthorized motorboats were apprehended as part of the stringent security measures.

Police Director General Prashant Kumar highlighted the state's unprecedented model of crowd management. The event saw over 65 crore devotees participating, with police utilizing world-class technologies and AI for effective surveillance. Continuous patrolling, initiated the previous night, played a crucial role in maintaining order and security.

The Kumbh's last 'Amrit snan' began early, witnessing a surge of devotees at Shiv Temples across the state. Significant cooperation among various agencies and coordination with railways ensured seamless operations. Religious sites like Ayodhya and Varanasi experienced increased tourist visits post-Kumbh, marking a successful conclusion to the religious gathering.
