Jakson Engineers Delivers 100 MW Solar Modules to Gujarat's Renewable Power Hub

Jakson Engineers Limited has provided 100 MW of solar PV modules for Gujarat Industries Power Company's Renewable Energy Park, advancing India's clean energy goals. The company fulfilled its contract with 1,90,000 bifacial solar panels, reinforcing ties with GIPCL. Future investments include a new solar cell facility and expanded manufacturing capacity.

Jakson Engineers Limited, a branch of the energy powerhouse Jakson Group, has achieved a landmark in India's renewable energy landscape by delivering 100 MW of solar PV modules to Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited. This delivery is part of GIPCL's sprawling 2,375 MW Renewable Energy Park near Khavda, Gujarat, and signifies Jakson's ongoing commitment to advancing India's clean energy agenda.

In a significant achievement, Jakson Engineers is the first to fulfill its contractual obligation, supplying around 1,90,000 units of its acclaimed PERC (Helia Plus) bifacial solar panels. These were manufactured by Jakson Solar Modules and Cells, showcasing the company's dedication to high-quality production and sustainable energy solutions.

Anurag Garg, CEO of Jakson Solar Modules and Cells, praised the team's excellent execution and commitment to innovation. The company is poised for expansion, revealing plans to invest INR 2,000 crore in a 2.5 GW solar cell production facility and to boost its existing solar module manufacturing from 1.2 GW to 2 GW, cementing its role in India's renewable transformation.
