BRS Working President and MLA KT Rama Rao launched a scathing critique against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday regarding the SLBC tunnel collapse. Rao accused Reddy of hasty implementation of the project without sufficient expert consultation, which led to the unfortunate incident involving eight trapped workers.

Revanth Reddy countered, attributing the delay and mishap to the tenure of former CM KCR. In response, Rao retorted that Reddy's leadership failure was evident in his blame-shifting for the decade-old project initiated without expert guidance. Rao advised the CM to focus on accountability rather than pointing fingers.

At the Tech and Innovation Summit 2025, Rao shifted focus to praise India's tech advancements, highlighting Hyderabad and Bengaluru's roles as innovation leaders. He emphasized the healthy competition between these tech giants, noting Hyderabad's recent progress in job creation, outpacing Bengaluru in recent years.
