Chandrasekharan, who chairs the Vaikunda Swami Dharma Pracharana Sabha and holds a leadership position within the BJP-led NDA, made it clear that no attempt would be made to protect his son, maintaining that justice must prevail. He emphasized on social media that wrongdoing requires accountability, even within his own family.

Following the incident, the activist reiterated the devastating impact of drugs on society, urging authorities to remain watchful as drug suppliers increasingly target vulnerable youth in Kerala.
