A violent clash broke out between two groups celebrating Team India's ICC Champions Trophy win in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. The incident, which resulted in torched vehicles and injuries, has led to heightened security in the area, officials have confirmed.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rural, Nimish Agarwal stated that a preliminary investigation is underway. He emphasized the situation is under control and assured that those responsible would be held accountable, urging the public to refrain from spreading fake news and taking the law into their own hands.

Indore District Collector Asheesh Singh reinforced that peace has been restored and appealed for calm, warning that strict action awaits those spreading misinformation. Indore Rural SP Hitika Vasal reported increased patrolling and vowed thorough investigation, stressing that no injuries go unpunished and urging people to trust official reports over rumors.
