Rajasthan is introducing an innovative approach to boost its tourism sector with 'concert tourism,' as announced by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. Speaking at the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), she explained that the state plans to host numerous musical events to attract visitors and enhance the local economy.

Kumari elaborated on the potential of concert tourism, highlighting its capability to significantly impact local economies when people travel specifically for music festivals or concerts. She stated, 'We will try to organize as many such events as possible so that tourism can be promoted.'

Events like the IIFA Awards hold significant importance for Rajasthan, according to Kumari, as they boost tourism and generate employment.
