Arunachal Pradesh Water Resource Development Minister Biyuram Wahge has underscored the necessity of bolstering the state's agricultural sector by improving irrigation facilities.
Addressing the Assembly, Wahge responded to concerns raised by NCP member Toko Tatung, highlighting the need for significant investment to support nearly 70% of the population reliant on agriculture.
The new Flood Plain Zoning Bill is poised to channel substantial funds from the Union Jal Shakti Ministry, promising to transform the irrigation landscape and boost local agricultural production.
