Punjab police officials convened on Monday to assess security protocols in anticipation of President Droupadi Murmu's upcoming visit to Bathinda. Her schedule includes attending convocation ceremonies at the Central University of Punjab and AIIMS, Bathinda.

Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order, SPS Parmar, assured that robust security measures are ready, with comprehensive plans in place to ensure the President's safety. "We've developed a detailed security arrangement, leaving no stone unturned," Parmar stated.

President Murmu's itinerary extends from March 10 to 12, covering events across Haryana, Chandigarh, and Punjab. Following her engagements in Bathinda, she will be honored at a civic reception in Mohali and will attend Panjab University's convocation in Chandigarh. Her commitments commenced with a spiritual campaign launch in Hisar, emphasizing spirituality's role in ethical and sustainable systems.
