On Monday, NTPC unveiled an ambitious plan to invest Rs 96,000 crore in Chhattisgarh as part of multiple agreements for launching clean energy projects, encompassing nuclear energy initiatives.

In collaboration with its subsidiary NTPC Green Energy Ltd, NTPC signed agreements during the Chhattisgarh Energy Investors Summit-2025 in Raipur, focusing on solar, wind, and hybrid renewable projects.

The venture includes a significant 4,200 MW nuclear project, a 1,200 MW pumped hydro storage in Gariyaband, and a 2 GW renewable energy initiative, signifying NTPC's commitment to sustainable energy solutions under India's Ministry of Power.
