Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, highlighted the urgent necessity for rapid military capability advancements to tackle evolving security threats, during an address to student officers at the Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington, according to a Ministry of Defence statement.
During his visit to the DSSC on March 11-12, 2025, the Air Chief urged the officers to embrace change, assess threats, and devise adaptive strategies. Singh emphasized the importance of joint training and operational synergy among the three Services to enhance combat effectiveness, the statement added.
The Air Chief provided insights into the Indian Air Force's current initiatives and the crucial role of unified operations. His visit underscored the DSSC's role in shaping military leaders and reaffirmed the IAF's commitment to strengthening inter-service cooperation for future challenges, the MoD said.
