A fire erupted at a godown in Delhi's Okhla Phase-1 on Thursday, prompting the Delhi Fire Service to dispatch 24 fire tenders to the scene to control the escalating blaze.

As officials await further information, another fire earlier in the day injured six at Connaught Place—a bustling market area in the capital. The Delhi Fire Service swiftly responded with six fire tenders to tackle the flames that originated from a kitchen leak at Bikkgane Biryani, located in P Block.

The fire was triggered by an LPG cylinder leak, authorities confirmed, with the alert being raised around 11:55 a.m. The injured were transported to RML Hospital for treatment. Investigations continue as Delhi grapples with the aftermath of these incidents.
