India Thwarts Massive Air Attack Amid Rising Tensions with Pakistan

India successfully neutralized over 50 air attacks from Pakistan, targeting multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir. Despite the aggressive assault, there were no reported damages. In an apparent escalation of hostilities, India's air defense forces thwarted a barrage of 50-60 air attacks by Pakistan on Thursday evening, protecting areas like Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, and others. The former Director General of Police, SP Vaid, expressed alarm at the scale, hinting at Pakistan's intent to wage a full-scale war.

Vaid praised India's impregnable air defense system for neutralizing what he described as a massive attack, equating the Pakistani assault to tactics used by Hamas in past conflicts with Israel. He noted that there were no recorded damages despite the severity of the attack, indicating the strength of defense measures in place.

As tensions escalate, India launched precision strikes targeting terrorist infrastructure in response to Pakistan's actions, including its firing across the Line of Control in recent days. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri reiterated India's commitment to avoiding unnecessary escalation while ensuring effective responses to acts of aggression.
