The Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) has introduced a Rs 2.3-crore startup innovation challenge to expedite the installation of rooftop solar panels and promote renewable energy adoption nationwide.

This initiative, timed with the National Conference on Skill Development for the Renewable Energy Workforce, is supported by the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) and StartUp India.

The competition invites startups in sectors such as green tech and waste management, with a substantial total prize pool and additional incentives, including incubation and mentorship from industry experts.
