NLC India Renewables to Innovate Tamil Nadu with Large-Scale Energy Storage

NLC India Renewables Ltd has secured a pivotal contract from the Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Ltd for the development of three standalone battery energy storage systems, solidifying its presence in the region.
The project is a landmark achievement for NLCIL Group as it ventures into large-scale energy storage, promising innovative energy solutions under a Build-Own-Operate model complemented by Viability Gap Funding.
Strategically located at key substations in Ottapidaram, Virudhunagar, and Kayathar, these projects were competitively secured to enhance energy infrastructure across Tamil Nadu.
