Hussain highlighted the Congress's successful acquisition of 140 seats and their subsequent government formation, underlining their commitment to keeping promises to the electorate. He remarked, "With Madappa's blessings, DK Shivakumar is destined to become Chief Minister, surpassing Kumaraswamy's claims."
Simultaneously, Shivakumar rebutted Kumaraswamy's predictions of a BJP-JDS alliance in Karnataka and pledged infrastructural advancements, notably the Yettinahole water project, showcasing Congress's focus on development.
