A court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident.

An Indian Air Force Jaguar Fighter Aircraft crashed near Gorakhpur today at 1240 hrs.
The aircraft was on a routine mission and was airborne from Gorakhpur at 1211 hrs.
Aircraft crashed at an approximate distance of 46 Km east of Gorakhpur. The pilot ejected safely. A court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident.
