Oil Supply Halt in Slovakia: Druzhba Pipeline Disruption
The Druzhba pipeline has ceased supplying oil to Slovakia, according to Transpetrol. The Slovak pipeline operator announced the interruption but is unaware of the cause, which lies outside Slovakia. The Slovak pipeline operator, Transpetrol, reported on Monday that oil supply through the Druzhba pipeline to Slovakia has been halted.
In an official statement, Transpetrol confirmed the suspension but acknowledged the reason remains unknown and originates outside of Slovak territory. The company emphasized their role in maintaining oil transport within Slovakia’s borders continues according to the established pumping plan.
While the exact cause of the disruption remains unclear, industry observers are closely monitoring the situation, highlighting the pipeline’s critical importance to Slovakia's energy supply.
