The Election Commission of India (ECI) is preparing to unveil the schedule for the much-anticipated Bihar Assembly elections, with the announcement expected on Monday. JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar insists that the incumbent government's two-decade rule will favorably influence voters' decisions.
In contrast, Congress leader Akhilesh Prasad Singh expressed confidence in the Mahagathbandhan's readiness to take over governance in the state. Speaking to ANI in Patna, Singh highlighted the alliance's full preparedness to contest and form the next government under its banner.
The ECI will elaborate on election readiness in a press conference scheduled at 4 PM today. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has confirmed that the polls will occur before the current term ends on November 22. This sets the stage for a heated electoral battle between NDA and Mahagathbandhan.
