Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made a significant announcement on Tuesday, stating his government's ambition to create one crore jobs for youth within the next five years, following the success of providing employment to 50 lakh individuals thus far.

Addressing a rally, Kumar took the opportunity to critique the opposition's handling of law and order and infrastructure during their tenure, asserting that his administration has been pivotal in transforming Bihar over the past two decades, with advancements in roads, electricity, and societal peace.

The state's forthcoming 2025 elections pit the National Democratic Alliance against the Mahagathbandhan, with other parties like Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj seeking a foothold. Polling is set for November 6 and 11, with results anticipated on November 14, marking a critical political juncture for Bihar.
