Chhath Festivities Shine Across India: Leaders Join Devotees in Celebrations

On Tuesday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, alongside his wife, participated in Chhath Puja rituals at the Kuakhai river ghat in Bhubaneswar. He emphasized the festival as a celebration of 'Nari Shakti', or women's power, during an interview on the occasion.
Simultaneously, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta joined devotees at Hathi Ghat near ITO, offering 'Usha Arghya' as part of the Chhath Puja rituals. CM Gupta expressed her gratitude for being part of the festival, describing it as a blessing and a joyful communal celebration.
Devotees across India, including those at Patna Collectorate Ghat, gathered to offer 'Usha Arghya' to the rising sun, marking the conclusion of Chhath Puja. The four-day festival, dedicated to the Sun God, featured numerous ceremonial offerings and vibrant gatherings under heightened security measures to ensure smooth proceedings.
