BPCL's ambitious plan for a Greenfield Refinery and Petrochemical Complex near Ramayapatnam Port in Andhra Pradesh is progressing, with efforts underway for environmental clearances. BPCL Chief Sanjay Khanna emphasized the company's commitment to India's net-zero vision, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040 through improved energy efficiencies.

An MoU with OIL aims to explore investment opportunities in the proposed refinery project, marking a significant move in India's downstream expansion with a projected capacity of 9–12 MMTPA and a $11 billion investment.
