The SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) has initiated a 30-day free tailoring program in the Kashirah area of Udhampur, aiming to empower women through financial independence. The training, which includes 29 female participants from various rural backgrounds, not only imparts tailoring skills but also provides a daily meal.

Participants expressed immense gratitude towards SBI RSETI, highlighting the newfound ability to support themselves financially. Trainee Anju Kumari shared with ANI, "This free course enabled housewives like me to acquire essential skills, transforming our lives through self-sufficiency."

Meanwhile, in Mehra village, Rajouri district, over 50 farming families have embraced organic vegetable cultivation. Chief Agricultural Officer Rajesh Verma emphasized the government's role in promoting sustainable and organic farming, driven by increasing health-consciousness among the populace. These steps aim to enhance rural economic stability and sustainability.
