A Special NIA judge extended Anmol Bishnoi's custody by another week, taking the decision amid rising concerns over security threats faced by the accused. The high-profile hearing took place at the NIA headquarters, underscoring the severity of the threats.

Anmol Bishnoi, who was deported from the US, is the sibling of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The National Investigation Agency has charged Anmol in connection with his alleged involvement in a conspiracy with Babbar Khalsa International to orchestrate terror activities across India. These activities include recruiting youth and raising funds for terrorist acts.

According to the NIA, Anmol provided key logistics and shelter to the operatives of this gang. Legal proceedings have unveiled his connection to high-profile cases, including the Siddu Moosewala and MLA Siddiqui murder cases. Despite his counsels' opposition, the court deemed the extension necessary for investigating the full extent of his involvement.
