The Rohini court has put on hold its decision regarding anticipatory bail pleas for Gaurav and Saurav Luthra. The order is slated to be announced at 5:30 pm on Thursday. The Goa Police opposed the bail, highlighting concerns about expired license issues and lack of cooperation from the Luthra brothers.

Advocates for Goa Police argued before the court, emphasizing that the Luthras did not cooperate and misled authorities regarding their departure from India, which allegedly occurred on December 7, not the 6th as claimed. Additionally, the police challenged medical arguments presented by the accused.

Senior advocate Tanvir Ahmed, representing the Luthras, argued that the incident was not homicidal but due to negligence. He stressed their intention to cooperate with the investigation and disputed the lack of prior notice before the issuance of a warrant. The Legal team insisted on their clients' innocence under the law.

Ahmed also mentioned the brothers' overseas reservations, asserting they were not absconders. The Luthras face charges linked to a fire at Goa's Birch Hotel and have been detained in Thailand. Their partners, including Ajay Gupta, face judicial proceedings with remand ordered for further investigation.
