A young woman, aged 24, tragically ended her life in the Vibhuti Khand area after streaming the act live on Facebook, as confirmed by local law enforcement on Friday.
The woman, originally from Ambedkar Nagar district, had been renting a room in the area and had previously filed complaints against both a local journalist and an Army personnel, accusing the latter of reneging on a marriage promise several months prior.
The distressing act, which took place early on Thursday morning, gained attention when Meta alerted the police, but intervention was hindered as the room was locked from inside. Upon forced entry, she was found and declared dead at the hospital. Her final message on the video revealed her intent, yet mentioned no specific individuals.
