NTPC and GAIL Join Forces for Green Energy Leap

NTPC Green Energy, a subsidiary of the state-owned power giant NTPC, has announced a strategic joint venture with GAIL (India) Ltd to boost renewable energy development.

The board has approved a 50:50 joint venture with GAIL, aimed at accelerating NTPC's green business initiatives and achieving an ambitious renewable energy target of 60 GW by FY32. This venture is subject to approval from relevant authorities including the Ministry of Power and DIPAM.

As the umbrella company for NTPC's green projects, NTPC Green Energy is focused on expanding its renewable energy portfolio through both organic and inorganic means, pioneering the company's journey towards a sustainable future.
