HDFC Life Reports Steady Profits With Surging Premium Income

HDFC Life Insurance Company has announced its financial results for the December 2025 quarter, revealing a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 418.2 crore. This figure shows a slight decline from the Rs 421.3 crore recorded in the corresponding period last year.
The insurer has experienced notable growth in its net premium income, which increased to Rs 18,351 crore from Rs 16,832 crore in Q3 FY25. The rise was attributed to strong performance across the first-year, renewal, and single-premium segments, as detailed in HDFC Life's regulatory filing.
Moreover, the company's total income for the quarter saw a substantial increase, soaring to Rs 29,157.6 crore from Rs 16,979.3 crore in the previous year. On a standalone basis, profit after tax rose slightly by 1 percent year-on-year, reaching Rs 421 crore, while net premium income grew by 9 percent to Rs 18,242 crore.
