On Thursday, Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao underscored the urgency of addressing negligence in law enforcement following an alleged attack on the Puranapool Maa Durga Temple on Wednesday night. The incident, reportedly orchestrated by unidentified individuals, has raised alarm over potential law-and-order implications.
Rao called for swift police intervention, emphasizing that such incidents should be met with decisive action, irrespective of the culprits' identities. Tafseer Iqbal, Additional CP, stated that a case has been registered under relevant sections, and the investigation is ongoing.
