Daring Midnight Rescue: Engineers Saved from Crocodile-Infested Lake

Nine workers and engineers found themselves stranded in the crocodile-infested waters of Mir Alam Lake after their boat engine failed during a soil-testing mission for a new bridge. As sunset approached, the group was unable to manually navigate their vessel due to dense water hyacinths.

Faced with the looming threat of crocodiles, they made an urgent call to emergency services. The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency's Disaster Response Force sprang into action immediately, coordinating with the group through their control room.

Armed with torch lights and guided by flashlights from the workers' mobile phones, the rescue team reached the stranded individuals. In a two-phase operation, all nine members were safely brought to shore by midnight, earning heartfelt gratitude from the rescued group.
