NCP-SCP chief Sharad Pawar was admitted to a hospital after experiencing chest congestion. Doctors have confirmed that his condition remains stable and his vital signs are normal. Dr. Abhijit Lodha provided updates on his health, indicating that necessary investigations have been conducted and treatment is underway.

Dr. Lodha mentioned, "There was congestion in the chest. Appropriate investigations have been sent, and corresponding treatment has been initiated. Further treatment decisions will be made after receiving the investigation reports. Currently, his oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and blood oxygen levels are stable." Earlier, Pawar was taken to Ruby Hall Clinic Hospital in Pune after complaints of cough and difficulty in breathing, while in Baramati.

According to his office, the former union minister had "some complaints of cough and difficulties in breathing." Last month, the NCP mourned a shock loss when Ajit Pawar, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Sharad Pawar's nephew, died in a plane crash. Following the tragedy, Ajit Pawar's wife, Sunetra Pawar, was appointed as the state's Deputy Chief Minister.

Sharad Pawar expressed his happiness over Sunetra Pawar's appointment as Deputy CM earlier this month. He also referenced ongoing merger discussions between two groups after a split and questioned Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's involvement in these discussions, as Fadnavis was reportedly not aware.

Pawar stated, "I am happy that Sunetra Pawar is sworn in as Deputy CM... Merger discussions were conducted between Ajit Pawar and Jayant Patil. CM Fadnavis was not involved in the talks. Our focus is on supporting those grieving and proceeding forward together. Currently, there are no political decisions being discussed."
