President Murmu Champions Karmayoga for a Balanced Bharat

In a bid to align spiritual values with national progress, President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the 'Karmayoga for Empowered Bharat' campaign during an All-India Conference in New Delhi, organized by the Brahma Kumaris.

Addressing the audience at Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Murmu underscored the importance of integrating moral values and spirituality with material advancement for holistic development. She pointed out that while economic progress drives prosperity and technological strides propel innovation, their absence of ethical grounding can lead to social inequities.

President Murmu elaborated that spirituality offers a moral framework that fosters Karmayoga or selfless service, advocating integrity, compassion, and non-violence. Such principles are vital for cultivating a just society, she noted, asserting that spiritual grounding aids leaders in making fair decisions for the collective welfare, fostering societal trust and stability.
