New Delhi is playing host to the AI Impact Summit 2026, which began today at Bharat Mandapam. Under the theme 'Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya,' Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India AI Impact Expo 2026, marking the onset of a significant international event
Running from February 16 to 20, the Expo will serve as a dynamic national platform spotlighting artificial intelligence's multifaceted potential. Showcased over 70,000 square metres, the event welcomes global tech companies and startups alongside 13 country pavilions, underscoring international collaboration in the AI sector with participants from countries like Australia, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
The Expo will feature more than 300 exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations across three themes: People, Planet, and Progress. With over 600 startups involved, and more than 2.5 lakh visitors expected, the event seeks to foster global partnerships. Additionally, over 500 sessions with a crowded roster of speakers will delve into AI's future in the Global South as India unveils 12 new indigenous AI models.
