Shiv Jayanti Sparks Launch of Citizen-Centric Revenue Initiative in Maharashtra

On the occasion of Shiv Jayanti, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has unveiled the 'Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maharajswa Abhiyan' in Maharashtra, a vigorous initiative designed to enhance the delivery of revenue services across the state. This operation promises expedited, transparent, and citizen-friendly services for Maharashtra's residents, a government release disclosed.
As part of this flagship campaign, over 15 crucial revenue services are set to be resolved and provided on-site during dedicated 'Samadhan Shibir' camps. The campaign spans across all revenue circles, including areas governed by municipal councils and nagar panchayats, with special six-day camp schedules planned throughout March, April, and May.
The initiative's comprehensive implementation is to be personally supervised by the Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, with daily monitoring. Supporting the operation are district-level committees led by respective District Collectors and a high-level State Monitoring Committee headed by the Revenue Minister. This committee, including key legislative members, will oversee policy decisions and accountability processes. Revenue Minister Bawankule emphasized the campaign's philosophy of proactive administration delivery to the public and highlighted the expected benefits in cost and time savings for citizens.
