In a notable development for Andhra Pradesh's energy sector, APGENCO has achieved a record thermal power generation of 6,160 megawatts in a single day. This accomplishment was lauded by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who highlighted the strategic efforts under the NDA coalition that paved the way for this achievement.
The milestone was celebrated as it represents 93.19% of the total installed capacity of 6,610 megawatts, demonstrating efficient production and management within the state's power sector.
Naidu extended his congratulations to the workers, employees, and senior officials of the GENCO plants. He also acknowledged the critical role of the departmental minister in reaching this significant achievement, marking a proud moment for the state's energy capabilities.
