In a sharp rebuke, DMK leader PT Selvakumar has taken a stand against TVK General Secretary Aadhav Arjuna's recent controversial comments about superstar Rajinikanth. Drawing on a vivid metaphor, Selvakumar stressed, 'An Attakathi (small knife) can never become a Pattakathi (sword),' underscoring the disparity between appearances and reality.

Addressing queries about Arjuna's remarks, Selvakumar emphasized that such statements are best left unspoken in public. Further, he advised that emerging leaders need careful nurturing, akin to 'pruning a drumstick tree.' Recalling his past efforts with Vijay's father to cultivate a positive public image for the actor, Selvakumar expressed hopes for DMK's stronghold in Kanyakumari.
