J&K: Blast in Rajouri near LOC, Army Major dies

One Indian Army Major died in a blast near LOC in Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir. The cause of the blast is still being identified. According to Devdiscourse sources, it was Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast near Line of Control in the Nowshera sector.

The Major officer was killed while defusing an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) which had been planted by terrorists. The officer is from the Corps of Engineers and IED was planted 1.5 kms inside the Line of Control in the Naushera sector, Rajouri district, in J&K
