Chhattisgarh Boosts Farmer Prosperity with 515 New PACS
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated 515 new Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) to enhance farmer prosperity through cooperation. The initiative increases the state's cooperative societies to 2,573. These societies will provide farmers access to seeds, fertilisers, credit, and government services, modernising agricultural practice through technology.

In a significant move to enhance agricultural growth, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated 515 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) from the state secretariat on Wednesday.
This initiative is set to boost farmer cooperation and prosperity, aligning with the government's vision of 'prosperity through cooperation'. With this addition, the number of cooperative societies in the state now totals 2,573.
The new societies will facilitate easier access to essential farming inputs and credit, while also simplifying the paddy procurement process. Technology integration will improve service delivery and extend cooperation benefits to remote tribal areas.
