The orchestrated operation involved two joint columns from the Indian Army, CAPF, and Manipur Police, working meticulously on both sides of the highway. The sweep through the Jalenbung Hills unveiled and subsequently demolished five bunkers that had been reconstructed after earlier dismantlement.

Simultaneously, the Thoyee Heights patrol identified and destroyed another five rebuilt bunkers along the Mahadev Hills.
