In a determined effort to maintain security, the Red Shield Division spearheaded joint area domination patrols along NH-202, targeting the Jalenbung hills and Thoyee Heights. This strategic undertaking aimed at curbing the re-establishment of hostile infrastructure.

The orchestrated operation involved two joint columns from the Indian Army, CAPF, and Manipur Police, working meticulously on both sides of the highway. The sweep through the Jalenbung Hills unveiled and subsequently demolished five bunkers that had been reconstructed after earlier dismantlement.

Simultaneously, the Thoyee Heights patrol identified and destroyed another five rebuilt bunkers along the Mahadev Hills. This cohesive action underscores the security forces' unwavering resolve to thwart any attempts at restoring hostile positions, while promoting peace and stability in the region.
