Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has described the recent controversy at Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) Nashik facility as a 'very serious matter.' State authorities have launched an exhaustive investigation to determine whether the incident involves what Fadnavis termed 'corporate jihad.' This statement was confirmed in a conversation with ANI.

Fadnavis underscored the seriousness with which the state's investigative bodies are approaching the issue. Although he refrained from detailing the specific allegations of 'corporate jihad,' Fadnavis assured that decisive action would follow if a conspiracy is uncovered. He commended TCS for acknowledging the seriousness of the situation and for its cooperation with law enforcement.

In connection with the case, Advocate Baba Sayyad confirmed that Nida Khan, a process associate at TCS, faces charges unrelated to religious conversion. The case includes accusations of faith-related discord, not conversion. Police investigations revealed digital evidence suggesting further offenses, complicating the matter further.
